Who We Are: The Borgen Project is a campaign that is bringing political
attention to severe poverty.

Our Vision: We're creating a political force for the world's poor. We're
building a powerful poverty-reduction movement that can champion
humanitarian causes.

Our Persona: Forget every notion you have of a poverty reduction
organization. We’re wonderfully different. Behind the Borgen Project is a
core belief that the same calculated and relentless tenacity used in the
corporate world should be used to improve the plight of the world’s poor.
The gloves are off. We think big and we go big. Poverty reduction has a
dire need for an unrestricted catalyst and the Borgen Project was designed
to fulfill that need.



Actress Judith Light Joins the Team

Hollywood actress Judith Light, best known for her portrayal of Angela Bower on the ABC-TV hit comedy series Who’s the Boss? is helping the cause. Light recorded a public service announcement this morning for the Borgen Project that will air nationally.

Thanks for that link! I didn't know that she did an anoucement for The Borgen Project.

I downloaded both of her announcements, even though they are just audio files and not video files. There's something about her voice that is very calming.
